The final disc golf course to cross off my list of Albuquerque, NM area courses was Ladera.
Yep, this is a desert course.
Got there early AM, but this New Mexico summer day got hot quickly. Ladera for me gets a "pretty decent" grade. Good lay out for the land it's on, some nice shade in the front nine and a couple of very long holes for the Big Arms. The back nine however was in wide open sand, bring plenty of water.
Big thanks to a couple of locals (who seemed to have had the right idea to play the shady front nine twice) who kept me on track when I was lead away astray by my map. Enjoyable course.
