After Doc Volt had a few stamps under his belt, MVP debuted the Axiom line of discs with color rims. One of the early molds was Wrath and I came up with a character for that line that was meant to be an adversary to Doc Volt. A science (Volt) vs magic (Wrath) thing.
That idea was the basis for these bookend designs. Both design were done in 2015.

Now they meet at last... MVP vs AXIOM!

Disc Or Die curates: The Skulboy Mythical Disc Golf Course

During several years of Inktober (one ink drawing for every day of October,) I have sketched my fair share of Fantasy style Disc Golf situations.

Paul of Disc Or Die joined me for a round while in LA on business and pitched an idea. A 18 disc series each highlighting a hole on a Skulboy Dream Course, based on my Inktober sketches.

"Disc Or Die curates: The Skulboy Mythical Disc Golf Course" was born.

Each Limited Edition of 50 per hole of the course comes bagged with header board, signed and numbered COA card and a sticker.

The following is what has been released up to Aug, 2019.

New From MVP/Axiom

Was very fortunate to receive the Tester package from MVP Disc Sports containing the latest discs set for release on May 22nd, Plasma AMP,Axiom Discs Neutron FIREBALL and the Fission PHOTON.
Got them out to course today and here are my thoughts (my max distance is usually between 250-280'.)
FIREBALL: The one MVP sent is so darn swirly I almost didn't want to throw it, but was curious about it and let it fly. Overstable is a fitting description for my arm strength. This will be in the bag for those shots that require a heavy fade at the end of flight.
PHOTON: The Distance Driver wide rim really feels nice with my grip. Need more backhand throws to fine tune it's potential, but it felt good and flew well.
The biggest surprise however was with my forehand drives. I got stable throws and more effortless distance than with any of my other forehand discs. Keeper for sure. Excited about getting in more work with this one.
AMP: I must state this- I LOVE PLASMA PLASTIC! It made me fall in love with the VOLT all over again and now it will put an AMP in my bag where there never was one before. The grip and flexiblity of Plasma is perfection and the stable to slightly understable flight of the AMP will be a fitting compliment to the VOLT. Looks like the beloved newcomer, WRATH, will have some competition.

1st Run Madness

Some very exciting stuff from the Land of MVP Disc Sports and all with Skulboy 1st Run stamps!

Super cool getting to work with MVP/Axiom Discs on this one and even got to choose plate and over-mold colors. This design really goes back to my comic-book roots and feature the origin of Doc Volt.
